Thank you to Martin County Animal Control for working so hard to find all the dogs that were dumped.

And to the subhuman that dumped Molly and 3 other dogs out in the middle of nowhere to fend for themselves, HOW COULD YOU??? How could you look in her soulful brown eyes and leave her in the middle of nowhere to die a slow and painful death? You could have brought them to the shelter to keep them safe, but you chose a cruel and cowardly way out. Even if the police never find you and you're never charged with a crime, karma WILL find you. You can bet on that.

Today I spent time with Molly, the first dog found. She was near death, lying in a ditch after being dumped and hit by a car. Despite the horrific experience she endured, this girl remains trusting and loving towards people and just wants to be loved. She is so friendly and so docile. She took treats so gently from my hand. And when I asked her to sit, she came to me and sat on my legs. It's hard to believe that the dog near death in the WPBF video is the same vibrant, happy dog sitting next to me today. Animals are so resilient and forgiving.

Molly is estimated to be about 1 year old. She knows basic commands, walks very well on the leash, and shows little interest in other dogs. This sweet girl needs a hero to give her the best rest of her life. I told her that not all humans are bad, so please, help me prove to her that those words are true!

Molly is waiting for a forever home at the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast in Palm City FL. The shelter is open 10am-5pm Monday through Saturday and 10am-4pm on Sundays. Besides Molly, there are a lot of other great dogs looking for a home, so if you can't adopt please share this post to help Molly and her friends.
