Oliver, Max, Bruno & Socks

I had the honor of caring for this household of furry and feathery friends while their owners enjoyed a weekend getaway to visit family in North Carolina. Their owners found me on Rover.com. Oliver was a stray cat who showed up on his owners' doorstep, complete with a stumpy tail and front left club foot. He is a sweet cat who enjoys spending his day sunbathing on the lanai watching the birds and rabbits that visit his yard.

Max and Bruno are parrots, and Socks is a conure. My first day caring for them, these birds knew I was a "stranger" and began calling LOUDLY for their owners. I won them over by giving them peanuts and cashews for treats, and Max even began talking to me. Ohhhh, HELLO! Bruno has a silly personality, I would often find him hanging upside down from the top of his cage. Socks is a feisty little bird and would come to inspect his bowls after I refreshed his food and water.
