Maple was surrendered to Dalmatian Rescue of South Florida when her owner was deployed by the military. She was a bit shy at first, and maybe a little sleepy too. Her day started out early in Gainesville, and I was her 4th transport driver on a leg of 6 drivers she would meet. Maple was feeling a little unsure about the pounding rain and noisy windshield wipers. We got a little soggy during the exchange from her previous driver, and she was just looking for a little comfort and love. Maple realized I might not be so scary after all, and eventually we became pals, singing along to "Don't Stop Believin'". Maple was a great passenger, and it was my honor to play my small part in her life's journey <3
