Secret
Secret is a 6 year old Beagle mix who evacuated to Florida with his owner from Asheville NC in advance of Hurricane Helene. His owner is a disabled veteran and he needed me to take Secret on long walks, to burn off some energy and get him some exercise. Secret has an acre of land to freely roam back in Asheville, so he was eager to get out and go once I arrived! We walked a mile each night - we walked in darkness, we walked at sunset, we walked along the golf course, and we walked in light rain and wind the night before Hurricane Milton came to the area. He looked adorable in his little raincoat, and the rain didn't phase him one bit! I'm glad Secret's owner found me on Rover.com, and I hope the Asheville area recovers quickly from the hurricane and flooding that devastated the area.
