I work a full time job during the week and that's what puts food on the table, but pet sitting and volunteering with shelter animals in my free time is what feeds my soul.

In 2021, I took a leap of faith and followed my heart by turning my passion for animals into something more by branching out into the pet care business.  I am available after 5pm (weekdays) - I can travel to your home for drop-in visits, dog walking, and cat/critter care.  I am available anytime on Saturday and Sunday.

My other passion is baseball. My grandfather took me to my first baseball game when I was 8 years old, and it was love at first sight.  So when I was trying to come up with a name for my pet services business, I wanted to somehow tie my 2 passions together and come up with a clever, creative name that would represent both.  For those who don't follow baseball, an intentional walk occurs when the defending team elects to walk a batter on purpose, putting him on first base instead of letting him try to hit.  So, intentional walk, dog walk, you now get the idea of how I came up with the name Intentional Walk Pet Services.

I was born and raised in Chicago, and have had pets my entire life – dogs, cats, grasshoppers, fish, birds – I love all animals.  I was always that little kid who fed neighborhood stray cats, rescued baby birds, stepped over bugs instead of on them, and set spiders free.  The only thing that has changed is my age, and now as a Floridian I also escort lizards back to the outdoors.

I moved to Florida in 1990 and currently reside in Port St Lucie with my menagerie - 3 cats:  Sebastian, Cheese, and Moana.  I also have a three striped mud turtle named Bravo (aka Mama T).
