Here's the link to my Canine Companion volunteer shift this week!

Today's edition of Canine Companion is called "What About Me?. Meet Kiko, Sadie Marie, and Juliette. These three dogs have been waiting to be adopted since March, February, and August of 2024, respectively.

But why? Is it because they're not puppies? Is it because they are bigger dogs? Is it because they're not the latest trendy breed? Is it because they need to be the only pet in the home? Is it because their fur color doesn't stand out?

I can tell you that if you spend just 15-30 minutes interacting with them, getting to know them, and see what fun loving, affectionate personalities they have, you'd be asking why they haven't been adopted yet too.

HSTC's Home For The Holidays starts in a few days, please consider giving these patient, deserving pups a much needed respite from shelter life by taking them into your home through the holidays. If you choose not to adopt them, maybe a friend or family member would like to after meeting them through you!

If you'd like more information you can go to HSTC1.org or call 772 223 8822. The dogs are waiting for you!
