Meet Birdie, the 2-year-old golden retriever from Iowa who got a little too excited for daycare. While waiting to enter the play area at Dogwoods Lodge, she jumped up and accidentally triggered the fire alarm, sending firefighters rushing to the scene.
Thankfully, it was a false alarm and no one was hurt. Firefighters even called it a “good practice drill” and said they were happy to visit the pups.
Birdie later posed with a sign that read, “I’m sorry I pulled the fire alarm today.”
